We are announcing the final pre-congress event, which marks the culmination of the series of meetings preceding the 3rd Middle East Congress. This time, panel participants will be able to focus on identifying the key characteristics and competencies necessary for managing a Polish diplomatic mission in the Middle East. The work of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Arab states is a task requiring exceptional competencies. The distinctiveness of social norms, the strong role of tradition and religion, and the dynamic political situation of the region make managing a Polish diplomatic mission in the countries of the League of Arab States a challenge of particular complexity. Guests include Amb. Krzysztof Bojko, Amb. Jan Natkański, and Amb. Krzysztof Płomiński (Expert at the Centre for International Relations). The panel speakers are distinguished representatives of Polish diplomacy whose professional experience is focused on the Middle East and North Africa. They combine many years of ambassadorial practice with expert and academic activity, possessing a unique perspective on the functioning of Polish missions in the Arab world.
The meeting will take place on 2026-02-23 from 4:45 PM to 6:15 PM in the Auditorium Building in Baszkiewicz Hall.
Events in this series are organized through the cooperation of student organizations: the Young Diplomats Forum, the International Analysis Circle of the University of Warsaw, and the All-Poland Forum for Israeli Studies.
We cordially encourage you to participate!
