Incoming Students
The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw welcomes students from partner universities to complete part of their studies under bilateral exchange programmes.
The exchange programme is intended for students interested in studying at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies for one or two semesters as non-degree students. Students may participate in the programme under existing cooperation agreements between the University of Warsaw and their home institution.
Students admitted to the exchange programme are exempt from tuition fees at the University of Warsaw. During their exchange, they follow an agreed study programme, and the courses they successfully complete may subsequently be recognised by their home institution.
Every semester the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies offers approx. 40 courses dedicated especially to exchange students. Every course from the exchange offer is conducted in English.
Apart from courses dedicated especially to exchange students, you can choose from a wide variety of courses offered to our regular international students, as we have undergraduate and graduate programs in English in: International Relations, Political Science, European Politics and Economics, Social and Public Policy. You need to contact the teacher of a given course and ask for permission to join.
Moreover, you can choose courses offered by up to two other UW faculties. The rule is that out of all the courses of your choice at least 75% of them must be offered by the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies.

Course Offer and Registration
Every semester the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies offers approx. 40 courses dedicated especially to exchange students. - Registration for courses from the exchange offer. The registration takes place in USOSweb approx. 2 weeks before the start of the semester and works according to the “first come, first served” rule.
- Registration to our full-time BA and MA courses. You don’t register in USOSweb, the registration is done manually by the mobility coordinator for incoming students (you need to provide us with teacher’s approval to join the class).
