Cele programu studiów
The main goal of the program is to educate graduates with expertise in cybersecurity and, in doing so, to reduce the shortage of specialists in this field in the labor market.
The development of students’ skills is aimed at meeting the ever-changing demands of today’s digital world. The rapid development of information technology and the IoT market in recent years, along with the growing popularity of remote and hybrid work, has led to an increased demand from companies and organizations for cybersecurity specialists.
The goal of the program is to improve education and raise public awareness about the threats posed by cyberspace. The average citizen does not know how to protect their data and privacy online and is often unaware of data loss or that they have been the victim of an attack. Protection against cybercriminals is the only path toward improving national and global security.

Organization of Studies
The program is designed for individuals holding a bachelor’s, engineering, or master’s degree in any field of study and is offered as a full-time program. It is intended for anyone who wishes to gain knowledge and training in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policy.
The classes are taught by a team of university professors and **representatives from private companies and government agencies** working in the field of cybersecurity.
Students have access to classrooms equipped with the latest computer equipment.
Study Program
The program’s main objectives are focused on identifying organizations’ IT security needs, developing cybersecurity policy at the national level, and managing the EU’s information security.
The degree program is designed to educate students based on the following two pillars:
Pillar I – knowledge of the development and implementation of cybersecurity policy at the level of companies, organizations, and national and European institutions, including:
- identifying needs and developing cybersecurity policies and strategies,
- methods for establishing control and security policies for enterprises’ technological and information resources,
- cybersecurity solutions implemented at the national level,
- EU policy principles aimed at enhancing cyber resilience, combating cybercrime, and strengthening cyber diplomacy and cyber defense,
- criminal law and cybersecurity,
- risk management and IT system security assessment,
- online privacy,
- public perception of risks,
- disinformation, as well as tools and techniques for manipulating public opinion.
The above issues encompass the development and formulation of security policy in the following areas:
- IT system security,
- operating system and database security,
- network and electronic communications security,
- Internet technologies and security,
- cloud security,
- infrastructure security,
- IoT security.
Pillar II covers selected topics in the field of IT that support cybersecurity operations and are necessary for implementing the topics covered in Pillar I, such as:
- artificial intelligence,
- Big Data and data analysis,
- technologies for building websites and web portals,
- Fundamentals of Programming in Cyberspace,
- Web 2.0 and social media.
Sylwetka absolwenta
Graduates of this program will gain a solid foundation for working in cybersecurity roles at private companies and government agencies both in Poland and abroad. They will learn to diagnose and analyze cybersecurity threats, as well as to use tools to mitigate and eliminate them. They will learn the principles of cybersecurity policy and how to shape it, and will gain knowledge of the mechanisms, technologies, and systems used to protect against cyber threats.
The program is designed to develop competencies in raising awareness of cyber threats and in preventing their economic, social, psychological, and political consequences. It enables participants to acquire knowledge of a wide range of IT security solutions necessary for identifying threats in cyberspace and implementing preventive measures.
