3rd Middle East Congress – Expert Panel: Dynamics of Israel’s Political Scene in the Pre-Election Period
We cordially invite you to an event promoting the 2nd Middle East Congress, dedicated to the analysis of Israel’s contemporary political scene. The panel will discuss, among other topics: key actors and main lines of division on the Israeli political scene, as well as possible post-election scenarios and their consequences for Israel’s domestic and foreign policy.
The panel will feature Michał Wojnarowicz – analyst for Israel and Palestine in the Middle East and Africa programme, Master of International Relations at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, University of Warsaw (specialisation: security and strategic studies), and Jarosław Kociszewski – expert on the Middle East, journalist and commentator, long-time correspondent for Polish media in Israel. Graduate of political science from Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, fluent in Hebrew. Editor-in-Chief of New Eastern Europe Magazine.
The event will take place on 19 February 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw, in the Auditorium Building. The exact location will be provided to participants after completing the registration form.
The meeting is the third event announcing the 3rd Middle East Congress, which will take place on 5–6 March 2026 at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw. Events in this series are organised through the cooperation of student organisations: Young Diplomats Forum, International Analysis Circle UW, and the All-Poland Forum for Research on Israel.
