A new research project at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics funded by the International Visegrad Fund

Work has begun on an international research project titled “Emotional Dynamics of Housing Policy in the Visegrad Region: Security as a Social Value.” The project has received funding from the International Visegrad Fund (grant no. 22530006).

The study, which will last 18 months (from February 2026 to August 2027), focuses on analyzing the impact of housing policies in the Visegrad Group countries on the formation of perceptions and a sense of security. The research team will examine the emotional strategies employed in decision-making processes and their impact on two key social dimensions of security: collective emotional resilience and social cohesion.

In accordance with the principles of partnership and equality, which are central to the Visegrad Grants, academic leadership over the entire project and the Polish portion of the project is shared by:
