Book Launch: “Democratisation and De-democratisation in Multi-level Democracy in Poland”
Adam Szymański, Ph.D., Agnieszka Bejma, Ph.D., Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś, Ph.D., and Wojciech Gagatek, Ph.D. (Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw) and Dr. Agnieszka Stamm-Korecka (Faculty of Sociology, Adam Mickiewicz University) cordially invite you to an event promoting their monograph titled *Democratization and De-democratization in Multi-level Democracy in Poland*, published in December 2025 by Routledge.
The meeting will be held in Polish on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. in Room 223 at the Collegium Politicum (Auditorium Building) of the University of Warsaw, 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, Warsaw.
Book, available via OA: https://doi.org/10.4324/9781003666882, presents research findings from the project titled “Democratization and Autocratization in Multilevel Democracies” (National Science Center, OPUS 20 program), concerning the state of local and regional democracy in Poland from 2010 to 2023 and the impact of this situation at the national level. The meeting will feature brief presentations by the authors on these findings (selected topics) followed by a discussion with the participants.
