Book Launch: “Democratisation and De-democratisation in Multi-level Democracy in Poland”

Dr hab. Adam Szymański, Dr Agnieszka Bejma, Dr hab. Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś, and Dr hab. Wojciech Gagatek (Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw), together with Dr Agnieszka Stamm-Korecka (Faculty of Sociology, Adam Mickiewicz University), cordially invite you to a book launch for their monograph entitled Democratisation and De-democratisation in Multi-level Democracy in Poland, published in December 2025 by Routledge. The event will be held in Polish on Friday, 16 January 2026, from 1:15 PM to 2:45 PM in Room 223 at Collegium Politicum (Auditorium Building), University of Warsaw, Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, Warsaw. The book, available in Open Access: https://doi.org/10.4324/9781003666882, presents research findings obtained within the project “Democratisation and Autocratisation in Multi-level Democracies” (National Science Centre, OPUS 20 programme), concerning the state of local and regional democracy in Poland between 2010 and 2023, as well as the impact of the national-level situation on this state. The event will feature short presentations by the authors on these findings (selected themes) and a discussion with participants.
