“Building Resilience Through Sharing Democratic Experiences: a CEI appraisal” international scientific conference

On 23 June, the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw will host the international scientific conference “Building Resilience Through Sharing Democratic Experiences: a CEI appraisal”. The event is co-organized with the Institute of Central Europe and the Central European Initiative (CEI).

The conference, marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the CEI Secretariat, will provide a forum for substantive discussion on the functioning and resilience of democratic systems in Central and Eastern European countries. Invited speakers will analyze issues including European integration, the impact of digitalization processes on governance systems, challenges for the Western Balkans, and the functioning of the Ukrainian state under wartime conditions.

The event has received considerable recognition, as evidenced by the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the Rector of the University of Warsaw.

Participation in the conference is free of charge; however, due to organizational reasons and limited seating capacity, prior registration is required.
