Christmas Carols Evening – Invitation to a ‘Politics of Sound’ Series Concert

On behalf of Dr. Habil. Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk, University Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw, and Prof. Dr. Habil. Małgorzata Karpińska, Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Arts, University of Warsaw, we cordially invite you to a unique artistic event that will allow us to jointly extend the festive Christmas and New Year atmosphere.

As part of the next installment of the ‘Politics of Sound’ series, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, the Professor Jan Baszkiewicz Auditorium will be filled with the sounds of the most beautiful Polish Christmas carols and pastorals. The event will be a concert combined with communal singing and a lecture dedicated to the history and traditions hidden within these well-known melodies.
