Conference: “Fourth Anniversary of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine”
On behalf of the University of Warsaw Human Rights and Humanitarian Crises Student Research Group, we warmly invite you to the conference entitled “IV Rocznica pełnoskalowej inwazji Rosji na Ukrainę”.
The conference programme includes the following expert panel discussions:
I “Ukraine – Russia’s First Victim or Another Victim?” – a discussion on the historical relations between Ukraine and Russia and the origins of the contemporary conflict;
II “War – a Crisis within a Crisis” – a panel on the humanitarian catastrophe, systemic human rights violations and the challenges faced by the civilian population;
III “Ukraine as an Economic Player in Europe” – a discussion of the resilience of the Ukrainian economy, international cooperation and the potential for post-war reconstruction;
IV “Ukrainians in Poland – an Opportunity or a Migration Crisis?” – an analysis of the social and economic consequences of migration and the challenges of integration processes.

After the expert panels, the final segment will be a student panel entitled “Lessons from the War: Conclusions of Young Researchers”.
The event will take place on 27 February at 9:30 a.m. and is held under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland, the University of Warsaw, the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the Crimean House organisation and UA Hub.
