Conference on the “4th Anniversary of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine”

On behalf of the UW Academic Circle of Human Rights and Humanitarian Crises, we cordially invite you to the conference titled “4th Anniversary of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine”. The conference program includes, among others, the following expert thematic panels:
I. “Ukraine – the first or another victim of Russia?” – a discussion dedicated to historical Ukrainian-Russian relations and the sources of the contemporary conflict;
II. “War – a crisis within a crisis” – a panel concerning the humanitarian catastrophe, systemic human rights violations, and the challenges faced by the civilian population;
III. “Ukraine as an economic player in Europe” – a discussion on the resilience of the Ukrainian economy, international cooperation, and the potential for post-war reconstruction;
IV. “Ukrainians in Poland – an opportunity or a migration crisis?” – an analysis of the social and economic consequences of migration and the challenges of integration processes.
Following the expert panels, there will be a final segment, a student panel titled “Conclusions from the War by Young Researchers”.
The event will take place on February 27 from 9:30 AM and is held under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland, the University of Warsaw, the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the Crimean House Organization, and UA Hub.
