“Democratic Resilience Under External Pressure – A Comparative Perspective on Taiwan and Poland”
We would like to inform you that Professor Łukasz Zamęcki, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw, has for the third time secured prestigious funding within the international Taiwan Studies program! This program, supported by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, aims to develop research on Taiwan and build global academic cooperation networks through interdisciplinary projects and international partnerships. The new, two-year project titled: “Democratic Resilience Under External Pressure – A Comparative Perspective on Taiwan and Poland” was selected in an international competition and will be implemented by a team of over 20 researchers from Poland and Taiwan. This is a remarkable achievement – not only due to the program’s prestige, but also the fact that it is Professor Łukasz Zamęcki’s third consecutive distinction in this initiative! The project addresses the highly relevant topic of democratic resilience under external pressure, combining the perspectives of two states operating in different, yet demanding, geopolitical contexts.
Congratulations and best wishes for the successful implementation of the project and further development of international cooperation!
