We invite you to the next event organized as part of the Diplomacy Incubator.
The event will be held on May 20 at 4:45 PM at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies. The guest speaker for the event will be Dr. Katarzyna Cholewińska — a graduate of the University of Warsaw, where she also obtained her doctoral degree, and a diplomat associated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting will be titled: “Passion for a region as a career path. Latin America, the University of Warsaw, and work in diplomacy.”
During the event, we will discuss how an interest in a specific region of the world can transform into a professional path, from choosing a research topic, learning a language, and initial trips, to working in foreign service. The example of Latin America will demonstrate how academic passion can combine with diplomatic practice.
Dr. Katarzyna Cholewińska has experience working at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Buenos Aires, and currently serves as First Secretary and Head of the Political and Economic Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bogotá. The meeting will be an opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes daily work of a diplomat: analyzing political and economic situations, cooperating with local partners, and representing Poland outside Europe.
We cordially invite you!
