Dr. hab. Hanna Schreiber awarded the title of Honorary Ambassador of Polish Congresses 2025
Dr. Hab. Hanna Schreiber, Head of the UNESCO Chair in Public and Global Processes of Intangible Cultural Heritage Management at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw, has been named one of the winners of the prestigious Polish Congress Ambassadors program.
On November 26, 2025, the Program Committee, chaired by Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, selected new honorary Ambassadors. This year’s edition saw as many as 40 candidates from all over Poland, from which 23 people were selected.
The title of Polish Congress Ambassador is awarded to individuals who actively promote Poland as a venue for international meetings and conferences. In evaluating the candidates, the Chapter took into account, among other things, their membership in international organizations and associations, their achievements in the field of congress organization (including legacy activities), and their plans for the future.
The award for Dr. Hab. Hanna Schreiber is a testament to her commitment to the development of science and building the international position of our Faculty and University. The ceremonial gala, during which the winners will receive their diplomas, will take place in September 2026 at the Lublin Conference Center.
The Polish Congress Ambassadors Program is implemented jointly by the Polish Tourist Organization and the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland.
