Dr. Hanna Schreiber, Ph.D., Named Honorary Ambassador of the 2025 Polish Congresses
Hanna Schreiber, Ph.D., Head of the UNESCO Chair on Public and Global Processes of Managing Intangible Cultural Heritage at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw, has been named a laureate of the prestigious Polish Congress Ambassadors program.
On November 26, 2025, the Program Committee, chaired by Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, Ph.D., Eng., selected new Honorary Ambassadors. In this year’s edition, as many as 40 candidates from all over Poland were nominated, from whom 23 individuals were selected.
The title of Ambassador of Polish Congresses is awarded to individuals who actively promote Poland as a venue for international meetings and conferences. In evaluating the candidates, the selection committee took into account, among other things, membership in international organizations and associations, achievements in the field of congress organization (including legacy initiatives), and plans for the future.
The award presented to Dr. Hanna Schreiber is a testament to her commitment to the advancement of science and to strengthening the international standing of our Department and University. The gala ceremony, during which the recipients will receive their diplomas, will take place in September 2026 at the Lublin Conference Center.
The Polish Congress Ambassadors Program is jointly implemented by the Polish Tourist Organization and the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland.
