Information Resilience, Countering Foreign Influence and Contemporary Cybersecurity: Instruments for the Protection of Democratic Society – report
On Monday, 16 March, a unique event dedicated to contemporary challenges in the field of strategic security took place in the Professor Baszkiewicz Auditorium at the University of Warsaw.
The event attracted tremendous interest from the academic community, and the packed auditorium confirmed how pressing the issue of building information resilience and countering foreign influence is today.
Special guests included experts from the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings (UCEEB) at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), among them Ing. Erika Langerová – Head of the Building Energy Systems Department & Cybersecurity for Energy team.
During her lecture, the speaker shared unique knowledge in the field of security engineering and practical instruments for protecting societies against cyber threats. The lecture was followed by a highly animated discussion, during which participants asked insightful questions.
The event was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Poland, and was organised by the Student Association for Strategy and Security Policy and the Cybersecurity Research Group.
