International Scientific Conference in Belgrade EDC 2026 (Elections – Democracy – Crisis)
We invite you to participate in the international academic conference EDC 2026 (Elections – Democracy – Crisis), which will take place on March 26–27, 2026, at the University of Belgrade.
The conference is jointly organized by the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw. It will bring together approximately 50 scholars from over 15 countries, who will engage in scientific discussions over two days on contemporary challenges related to democracy, elections, and political mobilization. Through a series of panels, the conference will address topics such as democratic regression, electoral integrity, political protests, and transformations of party systems in Europe and beyond.
The panelists include our researchers: Vice Dean Dr. Łukasz Zamęcki, Professor, Dr. Adam Szymański, Ph.D., university professor; Dr. Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś, Ph.D.; Dr. Spasimir Domaradzki; Prof. Tomasz Grzegorz Grosse, Ph.D.; Dr. Agnieszka Bejma; Dr. Małgorzata Kaczorowska, and Prof. Dr. hab.
