International Scientific Conference in Belgrade EDC 2026 (Elections – Democracy – Crisis)

We invite you to participate in the international scientific conference EDC 2026 (Elections – Democracy – Crisis), which will take place on 26–27 March 2026 at the University of Belgrade.

The conference is jointly organized by the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw. It will bring together approximately 50 scholars from over 15 countries, who will engage in scientific discussions over two days on contemporary challenges related to democracy, elections, and political mobilization. Through a series of panels, the conference will address topics such as democratic regression, electoral integrity, political protests, and transformations of party systems in Europe and beyond.

Among the panelists are our scholars: Vice-Dean Dr. Hab. Łukasz Zamęcki, Professor, Dr. Hab. Adam Szymański, Professor, Dr. Hab. Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś, Dr. Spasimir Domaradzki, Professor Dr. Hab.
