The Internal Security Agency offers the opportunity to undertake 4-week (160-hour), unpaid student internships in September 2026 in Warsaw. The internships will be conducted in a hybrid mode (independent work/on-site classes). Internships dedicated to University of Warsaw students will be held in 6 groups: legal, analytical, analytical-linguistic, analytical-economic, forensic, and cryptological.
LEGAL Group
This internship offer is addressed to students who, as of March 31, 2026, were at least second-year law students (after 3 semesters).
Preferred specializations include:
- administrative law,
- constitutional law,
- public international law,
- European Union law,
- civil law.
Knowledge of English is welcome.
During the internship, students will particularly participate in work related to:
- the legislative process of normative acts or internal legal acts of the ISA,
- international cooperation,
- formulating legal positions and cooperating in drafting legal opinions,
- as well as preparing draft positions in administrative matters.

During the internship, students will particularly conduct thematic analyses of open sources related to the statutory tasks of the ISA, culminating in the preparation of analytical documents of varying complexity.

This internship offer is addressed to students of philological and oriental studies who, as of March 31, 2026, were at least second-year undergraduate students (after 3 semesters).
Candidates with knowledge of at least one of the following languages at a minimum B2 level will be welcome in the recruitment process:
- Russian,
- Belarusian,
- Ukrainian,
- German,
- French,
- Arabic,
- Persian,
- Turkish,
- Chinese
and obligatorily English (at least B2 level).
During the internship, students will particularly conduct thematic analyses of open sources related to the statutory tasks of the ISA, including foreign language sources, culminating in the preparation of analytical documents of varying complexity.

This internship offer is addressed to students of, among others, the following fields:
- informatics,
- physics,
- cybersecurity,
- electronics,
- sound engineering,
- data analysis,
who, as of March 31, 2026, were at least third-year undergraduate students (after 5 semesters).
During the internship, students will carry out practical tasks directly related to the field of forensics chosen by the student.
The level of difficulty will depend on the individual skills of the intern.

This internship offer is addressed to students whose interests and/or education are related to the following fields:
- mathematics, cryptography,
- electronics, embedded systems, microprocessor/FPGA programming
- computer networks,
- informatics, cybersecurity, information security
who, as of March 31, 2026, were at least third-year undergraduate students (after 5 semesters).
During the internship, students will have the opportunity to carry out tasks related to the design, implementation, and testing of devices and software (or their fragments) related to cryptographic information protection.
The level of difficulty will depend on the individual skills of the intern.
