We cordially invite you to a concert by Kuba Stankiewicz, one of Poland’s most outstanding jazz pianists, which will take place as part of the “Politics of Sound” series.
During the evening, you will hear jazz interpretations of works by two eminent composers of Polish music from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries – Roman Statkowski and Ludomir Różycki. The concert will be a musical journey connecting the romantic heritage of Polish culture with the language of contemporary jazz improvisation.
The event represents another meeting of art and academic reflection, presenting sound as a space for dialogue between history, culture, and modernity. We invite all music and jazz enthusiasts, as well as those who wish to discover the non-obvious connections between tradition and contemporaneity.
