On March 20, 2026, Professor Ewa Stasiak-Jazukiewicz’s jubilee was celebrated in the Auditorium Building. In 1982, she earned her doctorate at the then Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the University of Warsaw with a dissertation titled “The Press in the FRG on the Normalization of Relations with Poland.” On June 24, 1999, she obtained her habilitation there based on her academic achievements and the dissertation “Mass Information in German Foreign Policy.” In mid-2015, she was awarded the academic title of Professor. From 2019 to 2021, Professor Stasiak-Jazukiewicz served as the Head of the Department of European Union Policies at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies. She is the author of numerous publications, including books such as: “The German Press,” “Mass Information in German Foreign Policy,” and “Media Policy of the European Union.” Her research focuses on, among other things: the organization and functioning of media systems; the role of media in social transformations; media and information policy; and the creation of public institution images. Our academic community gathered in large numbers to celebrate Professor Stasiak-Jazukiewicz’s rich career.
