Candidate ProfileErasmus scholarships are available to full-time and part-time students of first-cycle, second-cycle, third-cycle, or long-cycle Master’s programmes who have achieved a grade point average of no less than 3.49 in the last completed academic year. Students with a lower average may be qualified as Erasmus programme participants without funding. All students of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies have equal access to the entire range of mobility opportunities.University SelectionStudents select a maximum of three universities from the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies agreement list, in order of preference, taking into account the required language proficiency and the course offering of the host university. The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies agreement list can be found in the Documents and Recruitment sections.DocumentsStudents submit the required documents during the period announced by the International Cooperation Section. Documents should be submitted in person. Recruitment opening dates can be found in the Recruitment and News sections. Attachments for download are available in the Documents section.Student Qualification CriteriaQualification for mobility under the Erasmus+ programme is carried out by the Faculty Qualification Committee appointed by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs / Head of the Teaching Unit on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Student’s grade point average (at least 3.49, with one conditional pass permissible on the date of application submission)
  • Level of proficiency in the language required by the host university,
  • Completion of the study cycle stage,
  • Fulfilment of additional requirements specified by the selected universities,
  • Justification for university selection,
  • Social competences,
  • Academic and organizational activity,
  • Participation in previous editions of the Erasmus+ programme (priority is given to candidates applying for a scholarship for the first time),
  • Opinion of the programme director (if applicable)Until written confirmation of admission by the host university and confirmation of funding at the University of Warsaw, as well as the signing of a scholarship agreement with the University of Warsaw, each person qualified for mobility is provisionally qualified.

Detailed requirements should be available on the website of the selected university.Every student planning mobility under the Erasmus+ programme is required to familiarize themselves with the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies Recruitment Regulations.DeadlinesRecruitment deadlines for the 2026/2027 academic year:

  • 2–6 February 2026 – submission of recruitment documents
  • 16 February 2026 – announcement of recruitment results
  • 17 February – 2 March 2026 – period for submitting appeals against committee decisions
  • 3–6 March 2026 – period for submitting the “Candidate Nomination for Mobility” document
  • 10 March 2026 – submission of nominations of qualified students to the International Relations Office.
