Candidate Profile
Students of full-time and part-time studies, first, second, third cycle or long-cycle Master’s programmes who have achieved a grade point average of no less than 3.49 in the last completed year are eligible to apply for an Erasmus scholarship. Students with a lower average may be qualified as Erasmus programme participants without funding. All students of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies have equal access to the entire range of mobility opportunities.
Choosing a University
Students may select up to three universities from the list of WNPiSM agreements, in order of preference, taking into account the required language proficiency and the course offerings of the host university. The list of WNPiSM agreements can be found under the “Documents” and “Admissions” tabs .
Documents Students must submit the required documents during the period announced by the International Cooperation Section. Documents must be submitted in person. The dates for the start of the application period can be found under the “Admissions” and “News” tabs. Downloadable attachments can be found under the “Documents” tab.
Student Eligibility Criteria
Qualification for international mobility under the Erasmus+ programme is carried out by the Faculty Qualification Committee appointed by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs / Head of the Teaching Unit based on the following criteria:
- Student’s grade point average (at least 3.49, with one conditional pass permissible on the date of application submission)
- Level of proficiency in the language required by the host university,
- Completion of the study cycle stage,
- Fulfilment of additional requirements specified by the selected universities,
- Justification for university selection,
- Social competences,
- Academic and organizational activity,
- Participation in previous editions of the Erasmus+ programme (priority is given to candidates applying for a scholarship for the first time),
- Statement from the Program Director (if applicable) Until the host university provides written confirmation of admission to the program, until funding is confirmed at the University of Warsaw (
), and until a scholarship agreement is signed with the University of Warsaw, every person selected for the program is considered provisionally qualified.

Language Certificates
Knowledge of a foreign language, the level of proficiency, and the type of certificate should meet the requirements of the selected universities. The specific requirements should be listed on the website of the selected university.
Every student planning to study abroad as part of the Erasmus+ program is required to review the the WNPiSM Admissions Regulations.
Deadlines
Admissions deadlines for the 2026/2027 academic year:
- 2–6 February 2026 – submission of recruitment documents
- 16 February 2026 – announcement of recruitment results
- 17 February – 2 March 2026 – period for submitting appeals against committee decisions
- 3–6 March 2026 – period for submitting the “Candidate Nomination for Mobility” document
- 10 March 2026 – submission of nominations of qualified students to the International Relations Office.
