Research Visit of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies to Ankara
On 11–13 May 2026, Prof. Agnieszka Bieńczyk-Missala, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, and Prof. Adam Szymański paid a visit to Ankara. The purpose of the visit was to carry out research tasks within the framework of the NCN OPUS project entitled “Russia’s Wars”, as well as to hold discussions on the development of bilateral cooperation and to plan future joint initiatives.
During their stay, the researchers held a series of consultations with representatives of the academic community, think tank experts, and diplomatic representatives.
The programme of the visit included, among others, meetings with:
- Prof. Dr Özgehan Şenyuva, Director of the Faculty of International Relations at Middle East Technical University, together with his team
- Prof. Dr Füsun Eyidoğan, Vice-President of Başkent University,
- Prof. Dr Banu Eligür, Director of the Institute of European Union and International Relations at Başkent University,
- Prof. Seçkin Köstem, Director of the Faculty of International Relations at Bilkent University,
- Prof. Meral Uğur Çınar, Director of the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration at Bilkent University.
