Scientific Seminar “Artificial Intelligence in Legislative Processes – Challenges and Perspectives”

We invite you to a scientific seminar dedicated to one of the most current issues of the contemporary rule of law: the role of artificial intelligence in law-making processes. The event will take place on January 14, 2026, at 4:45 PM in the Auditorium Building of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw.

Artificial intelligence is increasingly influencing the functioning of public institutions. During the meeting, experts will analyze the experiences of three European countries – France, Italy, and Poland – in implementing AI tools in legislative processes, highlighting opportunities, barriers, and issues of digital sovereignty.

• Italy: ParlAImento: Applications of Artificial Intelligence in the Italian Parliament and Legislative Process – Dr. hab. Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś (WNPiSM UW, CAI4D).
• Poland: Prospects for Implementing AI Tools in Legislative Processes in Poland – Current State and Barriers – Dr. Marzena Laskowska (Director of the Bureau of Expertise and Regulatory Impact Assessment, Chancellery of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland).
