Start Scholarship – 4th Edition

The 4th edition of the “Start Scholarship for Olympiad Winners” and “Start Scholarship for Athletes” programme launched on 1 April, aimed at students who began their first-cycle, second-cycle, or long-cycle Master’s degree studies in the 2025/2026 academic year.

The programme offers several types of scholarships, tailored to different achievements:

• “Start Scholarship for Olympiad Winners” – intended for first-year students of first-cycle or long-cycle Master’s degree studies who are laureates of subject olympiads and who obtained the maximum number of points in the admission process based on their olympiad laureate title.
• “Start Scholarship for Athletes” – intended for first-year students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or unified master’s degree programs. A person is eligible for the scholarship if they placed in the points-scoring positions at the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, or Polish Championships (but no lower than 10th place), and who is also eligible for the rector’s scholarship in the academic year in which they are applying for the “Start Scholarship.”

To apply for the “Start Scholarship”, please download and complete the application form, then submit it to the Office for Student Financial Aid together with the required attachments confirming your achievements.

Applications for the scholarship may be submitted from April 1 through April 24 of this year.
