We encourage undergraduate students (second- and third-year) and graduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw who hold Polish citizenship (as required by EUROPOL) to participate in a competition for a study visit to the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (EUROPOL), the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST) in The Hague (Netherlands), the International Criminal Court, and the National Institution and the Rapporteur on Human Trafficking and Sexual Violence Against Children in the Netherlands.
The visit will take place October 12–15, 2026 (dates are subject to change, depending on the host institutions). We especially encourage students who are interested in issues related to crime, as well as the functioning of law enforcement agencies and European Union institutions, to apply.
To participate in the selection process, you must submit the following documents in a single PDF file by July 20, 2026 (by 4:00 p.m.):
– A correctly completed application form (see the competition rules).
-A cover letter detailing the candidate’s interests and connections to the issues of crime prevention and combating, internal security, and the institutions of the European Union (max. 30 points),
-Confirmation of participation in the academic and organizational activities of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw (organization of academic conferences/events, membership in academic circles, etc.): max. 35 points.
-Certificate from the Student Section of WNPiSM UW confirming the GPA for the last academic year: max. 35 points: 3–3.5 → 20 points; 3.51–4.00 — 25 points; 4.01–4.5 — 30 points; 4.51–5 — 35 points
-A signed statement regarding the processing of personal data (see contest rules).

Costs covered by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Management at the University of Warsaw (WNPiSM UW):
a) airfare (Warsaw–Amsterdam–Warsaw)
b) lodging (The Hague, double rooms)
The student is required to cover the following costs:
c) meals
d) train fare on the Amsterdam Schiphol–The Hague–Amsterdam Schiphol route (approx. 20 EUR)
e) insurance
