Third edition of the international scientific conference Elections – Democracy – Crisis 2026 (EDC26)
On March 26-27, 2026, the third edition of the international scientific conference Elections – Democracy – Crisis 2026 (EDC26) took place in Belgrade. It was jointly organized by the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw. The event was attended by representatives of academic centers from Poland, Romania, Sweden, Italy, Finland, Canada, Serbia, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Turkey, Slovakia, Latvia, North Macedonia, Switzerland, and Bulgaria. Our faculty was represented by Vice-Dean Dr. Habil. Łukasz Zamęcki, Prof. Dr. Habil. Jacek Wojnicki, Dr. Habil. Izolda Bokszczanin – Gołaś, Dr. Habil. Tomasz Grosse, Dr. Habil. Adam Szymański, Dr. Agnieszka Bejma, Dr. Małgorzata Kaczorowska, and Dr. Spasimir Domaradzki. Special thanks and appreciation are extended to our partners from the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade, and particularly to Dr. Dejan Bursac and the Institute’s Director, Gazela Pudar-Draško, for their excellent organization and for creating the best possible conditions, which contributed not only to a friendly atmosphere but also to substantive and inspiring discussions. The next, fourth edition of the conference will take place in Warsaw in 2028.
