Research Interests
Turkey’s political system and foreign policy; democratization and de-democratization from a comparative perspective, taking into account local and regional levels and with a particular focus on Central Europe (especially Poland) and Turkey; European integration: European Union enlargement, EU-Turkey relations, Europeanization and de-Europeanization, differentiated integration; Islam and democracy.
