Dr. Anita Oberda-Monkiewicz – Ph.D. in Political Science (2007), Assistant Professor in the Department of Regional and Global Studies at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, University of Warsaw. Faculty coordinator for academic and research cooperation with partners in Latin America (2013–2018). Researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Warsaw. She has taught in Mexico (El Colegio de Tlaxcala; Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla), Spain (Universidad Complutense; Universidad Carlos III), Kosovo (University of Business and Technology), and China (Sichuan University).
Research Interests
International relations in Latin America; foreign policy of Latin American countries, with a particular focus on Mexico and Brazil; U.S. policy toward Latin America; regionalism and security in the Western Hemisphere.
