Dr. Rafał Więckiewicz – Doctor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Administration (Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw 2019, graduated with distinction). Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Systems. A graduate of Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in Political Science (Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw, formerly Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, University of Warsaw). In 2018-19, he was employed as a research and technical staff member within the restructuring project of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw.

Recipient of the Prof. Jan Baszkiewicz Award in the competition for the best doctoral dissertation in Political Science and Administration (2019 and 2020).

Head of research and educational projects funded by, among others, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the National Bank of Poland, the City of Warsaw, and the National Institute of Freedom – Centre for the Development of Civil Society.

Member of the Steering and Monitoring Committee of the Program for the Development of Civic Organizations.

Polish political system, contemporary constitutional systems, political transformation, constitutionalism, civil society
