Prof. Grzegorz Rydlewski, Ph.D. – professor of humanities in the field of political science, a graduate of the Institute of Political Science at the University of Warsaw (1978). Pursuing a personalized course of study, he also studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration and at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Warsaw. He is an expert in the following areas: contemporary political and administrative systems, the relationship between politics and administration, as well as institutional, procedural, and personnel issues, and the quality of the decision-making process in government and public administration institutions in Poland and other European countries. He focuses on issues related to the decision-making process in the political and public spheres, as well as national security strategy. Professor Rydlewski is the author of over one hundred publications and more than a dozen monographs on government and public administration in European Union member states, the public decision-making process, and security strategy. For over ten years (after 1990), he served in the government administration, holding positions including Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Head of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Team, member of the Civil Service Council, an OECD consultant in Paris, and Poland’s representative for public administration at the United Nations General Assembly.
