Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś, Ph.D., Habil. – Ph.D. in Political Science (2002), habilitation (2020), researcher and instructor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, University of Warsaw (associate professor). Recipient of a scholarship from the Government of the French Republic (in 2011 at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques – Lyon, Institut d’Etudes Politiques – Aix-en-Provence; in 2010 at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques – Lille), the Government of the Italian Republic (in 2002 at the University of Bologna and the University of Padua), the University of Geneva (in 2006), and the University of Padua (in 2001). She has taught lectures and seminars for doctoral students as part of the LLP-Erasmus program at the Baltic International Academy in Riga (in 2014 and 2013). Member of the following academic organizations: the Polish Political Science Association (Public Policy Section), the International Political Science Association (IPSA), the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) (research groups: Southern European Politics, Local Self-Government, Democratic Innovations), the French academic network “Democracy and Participation” (“Démocratie et Participation,” Paris); Political Science Association – PSA (Italian Politics Group); Vice President of the France-Poland Association and the Association of Graduates of French-Language Studies in Poland (since 1995). Participant in national and international research projects. Member of the editorial board of“E-Politikon. Quarterly of the Center for Political Analysis at the University of Warsaw.” Academic reviewer for the following journals:“Reflexions.
