Prof. Jan Garlicki, Ph.D. – Ph.D. in Political Science (1988), habilitation (1996), Professor at the University of Warsaw (1999); in 2008, he was awarded the title of Professor of the Humanities in the field of political science; full professor (2015), head of the Department of Sociology and Political Psychology at the Institute of Political Science, University of Warsaw (2004–2019), Head of the Department of Political Sociology and Political Marketing at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, University of Warsaw (since 2019), member of ESOMAR, PTS, and ISA. Founding member, former president (1999–2003), and honorary member of the Polish Association of Market and Opinion Researchers (PTBRiO). CEO and founder of CBM INDICATOR. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Selection Committee for the Paweł Stępka Award for doctoral dissertations and publications on electronic media, established by the National Broadcasting Council and the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw.

Research Interests
Political sociology, issues of political culture, political participation, changes in the political consciousness of Poles, the impact of systemic transformation on the consciousness, attitudes, and behaviors of young people, political and electoral marketing.
