Dr. Kamil Mroczka – Ph.D. in Social Sciences with a specialization in Political Science (2014 – thesis defense with honors), graduate of the Executive Master of Business Administration program offered by the International Center for Management at the University of Warsaw (2017 – graduated with honors). Graduate of a postgraduate program in government and local government administration and auditing of public institutions at the Institute of Political Sciences at the University of Warsaw (2010).
Researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Warsaw. From 2015 to 2017, he was a researcher at the Witold Pilecki State Higher Vocational School in Oświęcim, including, from 2016 to 2017, as head of the Department of Strategic Management and Finance at the Institute of Production Management and Engineering. From 2017 to 2019, he was an assistant professor at the Center for Studies on Local Government and Development. He has participated in national and international research and consulting projects. Member of a team of experts appointed at the University of Ljubljana as part of theproject “Support for Ukraine’s Public Administration Reform Strategy for 2016–2020.” Member of the Administration and Public Policy Section of the Polish Political Science Association (PTNP). Member of the program and scientific council of the journal *Bezpieczny Bank*.
For many years, he has been involved in administration and management in the public sector, including as head of the Office of the Director General at the Ministry of Justice, head of the Department of Strategic Management at the Ministry of Finance, and head of the Center for Administrative Assessment at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. He currently serves as Director General at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. He has experience in the functioning of corporate bodies under commercial law. Member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego from 2017 to 2019 and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Industrial Development Agency since 2019. Chairman of the Commission reviewing applications for authorization to hire former civil servants reporting to the Prime Minister.
A PWC expert on projects co-financed by European funds. Author of numerous expert reports and analyses commissioned by the government administration. An expert in program and project management. A certified PRINCE2 project manager.
