Prof. Konstanty Adam Wojtaszczyk, Ph.D. – Head of the Department of European Union Law and Institutions at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, University of Warsaw, from 2019 to 2021. From 2012 to 2019, he served as director of the Institute of European Studies, and prior to that, as head of the Department of European Studies. From 2005 to 2008, he served as vice rector for student affairs at the University of Warsaw. He also headed the Department of European Institutions at the Institute of Political Science within the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw. From 1998 to 2001, he served as director of the Institute of Political Science at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw. He holds various positions outside the University of Warsaw, including: chairman of the Main Committee of the Knowledge Competition on Poland and the Contemporary World, president of the Europea Foundation, and member of the Central Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles. He has supervised 29 doctoral dissertations, over 400 master’s theses, and 250 bachelor’s theses. He is the author of numerous publications in Polish, English, and German.

European integration, particularly EU institutions and law, and contemporary political systems.
