Dr. Marcin Tobiasz – Ph.D. in Political Science (2008), research fellow at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. From 2016 to 2019, he served as deputy director of the Institute of Political Science. From 2012 to 2016, he was the program director for the bachelor’s degree program in political science. He was a long-time member, secretary, and later chair of the Admissions Committee at the Institute of Political Science within the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. Member of the Review Committee of the Mazovia Branch of the Polish Political Science Association (PTNP). Researcher on the National Science Center (NCN) grant project “Political Representation in Contemporary Democracies: Limitations and Challenges” led byProfessor Tomasz Żyro, Ph.D. (habilitated ). Participant in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie “Research and Innovation Staff Exchange” (RISE) project, carried out under the “Horizon 2020” program; coordinator: Accademia Europea Di Bolzano (Italy), national coordinator: Dr. Andżelika Mirska, duration: February 1, 2019 – January 31, 2023.

Research interests
Theory of democracy, political pluralism, political participation, deliberative democracy.
