Piotr Tosiek, Ph.D., Habil. – Ph.D. and habilitation in political science (2017), assistant professor. Since 2019, Vice President of the Executive Board of the Polish Association for European Studies; from 2012 to 2015, public advisor to the Chair of the European Union Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. Principal investigator of two grant projects funded by the National Science Center (NCN) (“Committee-Based Decision-Making Bodies in the European Union: Experiences of the Polish Government Administration ” – 2010–2013; “The Member State in the European Union’s Decision-Making System. The Case of Poland – 2015–2017), as well as two Jean Monnet projects funded by the European Commission (The European Parliament in the Institutional System of the European Union – 2003–2006; “The European Union in the 21st Century: A Summer School for Teachers” – 2011–2013). He has delivered presentations in Frankfurt, Paris, Potsdam, Porto, Reykjavik, Riga, and Venice, among other places.
