Dr. Piotr Zawadzki – Ph.D. in the humanities with a focus on political science (2007), graduate of the Institute of Social Policy (2001) and the Institute of Political Science (1999) at the University of Warsaw; Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Warsaw. He teaches courses to students on topics including: European Social Policy, the European Labor Market, European Cohesion and Development Policy, and Labor Market Policy. Co-founder and board member of the Norden Centrum Scientific Foundation. He participates in research programs conducted by the Mazovian Labor Market Observatory at the University of Warsaw and the Norden Centrum Foundation, focusing on labor market issues, vocational education, and international comparative social policy. He publishes in specialized journals and is also a co-author of a social studies textbook for secondary schools. He serves as the coordinator of the social sciences division and an in-house expert in the Expert Management Department of the National Center for Research and Development.
Research interests
R&D&I programs, innovation implementation, structural policy (EU), the labor market, education and employment, and the use of IT/ML/AI in public policy.
