Dr. Saroj Kumar Aryal – earned his Ph.D. in the field of ““International Relations” at the University of Warsaw. Over the past five years, he has published numerous scholarly articles in renowned international journals indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. In addition, he regularly publishes in-depth policy analyses for organizations such as the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and the Institute of Security and Development Policy (ISDP). One of his academic books, titled “India and Central Asia in the Post-Cold War Era,” was published by Routledge. He has signed a contract with Routledge to publish two more co-authored monographs: 1. “Nepal—Balancing Between Great Powers” and 2. “Violence, Power, and Politics in South Asia: From Kashmir to Kathmandu.” In addition, he participated in one of the largest NCN/OPUS research projects, under which WNPISM received funding while serving as a co-investigator. The project was titled “ Reactions of the emerging powers of the Global South to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the implications for the international order” received a grant of 2,156,000 PLN for a period of 4 years. It was also recently awarded the title of “ EUkraine Forum – Planning the Future of Ukrainian Studies in Europe,” funded by the French Erasmus+ agency. In addition, he participated in the 4EU+ teaching program and in a research project titled “Culture, Democracy, and International Relations from the Perspective of Regional Studies.”
