Dr. Sławomir Józefowicz – Ph.D. in Political Science (1999, Institute of Political Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences), Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Theory and Political Thought; from 2014 to 2018 – lecturer and coordinator for international mobility at the Center for American Studies at the University of Warsaw, 2000–2005 – academic secretary of the journal *Przegląd Europejski* at the Institute of Political Sciences, University of Warsaw. From 1991 to 2005 – research assistant, and subsequently assistant professor at the Institute of Political Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences; from 1994 to 1996 – national coordinator of the Higher Education Support Program (HESP) and scholarship programs at the Stefan Batory Foundation.
Recipient of scholarships from, among others, the Kosciuszko Foundation—a research fellowship at the State University of New York at Buffalo (2007–2009), research stays at The New School for Social Research in New York and the University of California, Berkeley (1993), Fulbright Summer School (1997), USAID (1995), and the University of London—Birkbeck College (1992). Longtime collaborator with the Center for Polish Studies at Daemen College (Buffalo/Amherst, NY).
