Dr. Tomasz Godlewski – Ph.D. in Social Sciences, sociologist, graduate of the Institute of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw (2001) and of the postgraduate program “Marketing Research – Consumer Attitudes and Behavior” completed at SWPS (2004). He holds a Ph.D. in the Humanities in the field of political science (2007). He is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Sociology and Political Marketing. He is a member of the Polish Association of Market and Public Opinion Researchers.
His academic work focuses, among other things, on issues of political awareness, identifying the factors shaping public opinion in Poland, and the social perception of election campaigns. He teaches courses in marketing, such as electoral market research and social data analysis. He is the author of, among other works, the monograph *The Left and the Right in the Consciousness of Polish Society*. He has published works in the fields of political sociology and political marketing. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal *Athenaeum – Polish Political Science Studies*.
Research Interests
General sociology, political sociology, the Polish public’s perception of the left and the right, the political awareness of Poles, public perception of election campaigns, the process of public opinion formation in Poland, negotiations and mediation in politics, factors determining political decisions among young people.
