Tomasz Słomka, Ph.D., Professor – Ph.D. in the social sciences, specializing in political science (2014), Ph.D. in the humanities in political science (2014), a faculty member at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. From 2005 to 2016, he served as the program director for political science and internal security studies, and from 2016 to 2019 he served as deputy director of the Institute of Political Science at the University of Warsaw and head of the Department of Political Systems at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Warsaw. Member of the editorial board (subject editor) of the journal *Preferencje Polityczne* and member of the scientific advisory board of the journal *Społeczeństwo i Polityka*.

The Constitution and contemporary constitutionalism, the Polish political system, the institution of the modern head of state, constitutional security.
