Dr. Tomasz Żukowski – Doctor of Humanities in Political Science (1988). Principal investigator and participant in research projects on elections, the value system of Poles (including their attitude toward the legacy of John Paul II), and states of particular trauma in public life. Co-author of studies on social organizations, civic engagement, and social capital. Co-editor of an expert report on Polish foreign policy. Author and co-author of numerous reports on opinion polls. From 1998 to 2001, 2006 to 2007, and in 2016, he served on the scientific council of CBOS. An expert in the field of election campaigns. He has collaborated with the Civic Parliamentary Club, the “Solidarity” Electoral Action, the National Commission of “Solidarity,” and the Law and Justice party, as well as with democratic parties in Ukraine. From 2008 to April 2010, he served as an advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland, and from 2015 to 2019, as an advisor to the Marshal of the Republic of Poland.

The contemporary political scene in Poland and its sociocultural determinants; the social and political history of the Third Republic of Poland; contemporary Polish society; the contemporary political system in Poland.
