Wojciech Lewandowski, Ph.D. – Doctor of Humanities in the field of political science. Researcher at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, University of Warsaw. Co-founder and secretary of the BRITANNIA Research Group, which focuses on British social and political studies. Former lecturer at the Center for American Studies at the University of Warsaw. Member of the editorial board of the journals *Przegląd Europejski* and *Creatio Fantastica*. He hosted the radio show “Art.Rockowy Świat.” He runs the blog “Gitarą Rysowane” (gitararysowane.pl), dedicated to pop culture, with a particular focus on comics and rock music.
Research Interests
Politics and popular culture (sociopolitical issues and political ideologies in popular culture texts, in particular: comic books, progressive rock, the 1960s counterculture, horror literature and film); political thought and the axiological dimension of politics (the British and American traditions, fascism, anarchism, and the political ideas of the 1960s counterculture); British politics (decentralization, as well as the cultural and sociopolitical context and consequences of Brexit).
