Aleksandra Gasztold, Ph.D., Prof. — Ph. D. in Political Science (2009), habilitation in Political Science (2018), Professor (2020), Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, University of Warsaw; Disciplinary Ombudsman for Undergraduate and Graduate Students at the University of Warsaw (1st term: 2020–2024, 2nd term: 2025–2029). She is the author of over 100 publications in the field of security studies. She has held fellowships at foreign institutions, including the University of Konstanz (2007, 2010, 2015, 2016), Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz (2008), Indiana University in Bloomington (2013), and the University of Vienna (2015). She is a graduate of the U.S. Department of State’s prestigious IVLP program, “Women Leaders Promoting Peace and Security: International Visitors Leadership” (2024). She serves as secretary general of Women in International Security Poland (WIIS Poland) and is a member of the Women’s Intelligence Network (WIN) and the Institute for National and International Security (INIS), as well as an expert on Panel 4 — Local Dimension, Polarization, and Resilience Building—within the EU Knowledge Center on the Prevention of Radicalization. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of the academic journal *Applied Cybersecurity and Internet Governance*, published by the NASK National Research Institute (since 2022). She is also a member of the editorial boards of journals such as “Terrorism – Studies, Analyses, Prevention” and “Polish Diplomatic Review.” In the fourth edition of the nationwide “16 Women Leaders of Equality” poll (2025), she was awarded the title of “Innovator in Science and New Technologies.”
