dr Błażej Poboży

Dr. Błażej Poboży – Ph.D. in Political Science. For over a dozen years, he has been affiliated with the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Warsaw (formerly the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science). He has twice received an award in the competition for the best lecturer at the University of Warsaw. He also holds a local government position. From June 2016 to November 2018, he served as deputy mayor of the Bemowo district in Warsaw. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Warsaw City Council, where he also serves as vice-chairman ofthe Law and Justice Club. In 2018, he was awarded the Medal of the National Education Commission for outstanding contributions to education and upbringing. Since September 2019, he has served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration.

Research Interests
Contemporary political history of Poland, history of Polish political parties, Polish political parties and social movements, the Polish political scene, Warsaw politics.
