Dr. Kornela Oblińska – PhD in Social Sciences in the field of Information Environment Management (2016), academic and research staff member at the Faculty of Political Science
and International Studies, University of Warsaw – Assistant Professor in the Department of Security. She is a graduate of, among others, the Police Academy in Szczytno (1999), the Faculty of Law at the University of Wrocław (2001), Postgraduate Studies in Public Administration Management – Poznań University of Economics (2003), Foreign Policy Studies at the Polish Institute of International Affairs in Warsaw (2008), the International Institute of Organization and Management (ORGMASZ 2009), and Postgraduate Studies (UTH): Criminological Pedagogy – prevention and combating migratory crime (2015 – 2016). A retired Police Inspector, she participated in UN and EU peacekeeping missions in the former Yugoslavia (2004 – 2005). She was a member of nationwide scientific projects on preventing and combating crime, including anti-terrorist activities (2012 – 2017). Member of the International Police Association (IPA), Vice-President of the Warsaw Police Family Association of 1939 (WSRP 1939). Expert at the Polish Education Center, author of training courses, lecturer (PCE). Program Director for Women in International Security in Poland (WIIS Poland).
Research interests
international cooperation for security, migration policy (geopolitical and humanitarian aspects), management of uniformed services, the role of organizational culture in services.
