Dr. Ewa Flaszyńska – Doctor of Humanities (2005), assistant professor, long-time employee of the government administration (Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy; Ministry of Development, Labor, and Technology) and local government administration (Warsaw Provincial Labor Office, Social Assistance Center for the Bielany District, City of Warsaw). From 2014 to 2018, she was an assistant professor at the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw. Director of the Labor Market Department at the Ministry of Development, Labor, and Technology; alternate member of the network of directors of public employment services from European Union member states; and member of the Committee on Labor and Social Policy of the Polish-Russian Council for Cooperation between the Regions of the Republic of Poland and the Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation. Member of the Polish Society for Social Policy, the Scientific Council for “Lifelong Learning and Adult Education,” and the editorial boards of the journals “Social Work” and “Labor Market.” From 2017 to 2018, he served as a member of the Central Examination Commission for professional specialization degrees for social workers. In March 2021, she was appointed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development, Labor, and Technology Jarosław Gowin to serve as a member of the Scientific Council of the Central Institute for Labor Protection—State Research Institute. She is the author of several monographs and over 60 articles in academic journals and book chapters devoted to social policy, particularly the labor market. She has presented papers at international conferences (including in Tokyo) and national conferences, and participated in a research internship at a company as part of a program linking academia and business (2013–2014).
