Dr. Iwona Wyciechowska – a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw (1978). Since 1981, she has served at the Institute of International Studies as a member of the Faculty Council, director of full-time first- and second-cycle studies in international relations, head of part-time first- and second-cycle programs in International Relations, and chair of the Program Council of Academic Campus Radio. In 2016, she defended her doctoral dissertation titled “International Mobility of People—Opportunities and Threats.” On June 15, 2016, the Faculty Council of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw awarded her, by resolution, the degree of Doctor of Social Sciences in the field of political science. Since October 1, 2016, she has been working as an assistant professor at the Institute of International Studies within the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw, and since October 1, 2019, she has served as a research fellow.
Research Interests
Contemporary international migration, political and economic geography of the world, globalization processes in the contemporary world, cultural aspects of international relations, society in contemporary international relations.
