Dr. Tomasz Mering – Ph.D. in Political Science (2009), research fellow at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Warsaw, director of studies in social policy and labor market organization. From 2012 to 2016, he served as deputy director of the Center for Research on Local Government and Development at the University of Warsaw, and in 2019 he was deputy director of the Institute of Social Policy. He has worked, among other places, in the Department of Economic Analysis and Forecasts at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (now the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy), as well as at the Mazovian Labor Market Observatory at the Mazovian Labor Office in Warsaw. He served as a content coordinator for various research projects on labor market policy and lifelong learning. He was also a Marie Curie fellow at the University of Stirling in Scotland. He is the author of numerous publications on social and public policy.

: Social economy, management, public policy implementation, an activation-based approach in social policy, labor market policy.
