Wojciech Gagatek, Ph.D., Professor – He earned his postdoctoral degree in political science at the University of Warsaw, his Ph.D. in social and political sciences at the European University Institute in Florence, and his master’s degrees in political science and law (in both cases from the University of Warsaw).
He currently serves as a university professor in the Department of Policy Research Methods and Public Policy at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Warsaw and serves as the dean’s representative for strategy. Previously, he worked at the European University Institute in Florence and at the European Center of the University of Warsaw, and was a research fellow at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Zurich.
His research interests focus on the political system of the European Union (with particular emphasis on the European Parliament), democracy and political representation in the EU, comparative analysis of political parties, comparative European politics, and social science methodology.
In recent years, he has carried out the following grant-funded research projects:
1. A Multilevel Examination of the Theory of Political Party Adaptation: The Case of Poland

2. Promoting Diversity in the European Union (InDivEU)
